Natalie Ann Holborow is a Wales Book of the Year shortlistee, winner of the Terry Hetherington Award and the Robin Reeves Prize and has been shortlisted and commended for the Bridport Prize, the Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine, and the Cursed Murphy Spoken Word Award among others.

Her writing residencies with the British Council, Literature Wales and Kultivera have seen her writing and performing poetry in Wales, Ireland, Sweden and India.

She has appeared at Hay Festival and on BBC Radio 4’s The Verb with Ian Macmillan.

Little Universe is her third full poetry collection. Natalie lives in Swansea, is a proud patron of local charity The Leon Heart Fund, and runs marathons to raise funds.

Wild Running, her first non-fiction book, is out with Seren in September 2025.

It was published in 1993 and has gone onto be one of the best-selling Welsh novels. He is joined by the rising star of the Welsh poetry world Natalie Ann Holborow, formerly of Skewen and a winner of the Terry Hetherington Award, and the writer Patricia James, author of “Belonging”. It all starts at the statue of Howell Gwyn in Victoria Gardens at 3pm and concludes with tea and Welshcakes at the Town Hall. Sensible shoes recommended and fully accessible throughout. Tickets here.
