Hi, I’m Natalie. I’m from Dylan Thomas’s hometown, which feels right as a poet.
Multiple award-winning author of And Suddenly You Find Yourself (2017) and Small (2020), full-time content specialist in the education and learning & development (L&D) industries, I’m also editor of the prestigious Terry Hetherington Awards anthology.
In 2015, I won both the Terry Hetherington Award and the Robin Reeves Prize, and in 2016 was named as runner-up in the Wales PENCymru New Voices Award. I’ve been commended and shortlisted for various others including the Bridport Prize, the National Poetry Competition and Hippocrates Prize for Poetry and Medicine. My work has recently appeared in The Stinging Fly and the New Welsh Review.
For Swansea and South Wales based copywriting and content, I’m also happy to meet up in person to talk through your needs (note that evenings and weekends are my current availability for meet-ups!).
Having performed from Swansea to Sweden, Cardiff to Calcutta, and from West Wales to Wexford, I’m available for 1:1 poetry mentoring, workshops and performances.
